Purpose
IRIS-Monde Business Code of Conduct
This Code of Conduct sets the ethical and professional standards expected of all IRIS-Monde
staff, contractors, and representatives. That integrity, responsibility, intelligent innovation,
and scrutiny guide our commitment to conscious risk management, supporting honest and
excellent client outcomes.

The 'ethical governance model' performance
Note: a highly performing ethical governance model – ITROC Framework – where Integrity and
Trust Reinforce Organisational Confidence. A model that warrants evidence based ethical,
transparent, and risk-awareness practices.
Guiding Principles
All decisions and actions within IRIS-Monde must reflect the following core risk management principles:

Compliance with Laws & Regulations
IRIS-Monde must abide by all applicable Australian laws, including the Corporations Act 2001, Privacy Act 1988, Australian Consumer Law, and all relevant laws.
All staff must uphold relevant guidelines, particularly in dealing with complaints, disputes, and client communication.
Any breach of law, regulation, or this Code must be escalated to management immediately and handled through internal channels.
Fairness & Objective Client Treatment
Our services are efficient, fair, timely, and transparent.
Our Client information is treated confidentially and in accordance with privacy obligations.
We avoid misleading or deceptive conduct.
Our Customer complaints are handled promptly and respectfully.
Our Clients are aware of their right to seek external review through relevant bodies.
All disputes are resolved in a manner that promotes fair outcomes, ethical behaviour, and learning.
Responsible Conflict of Interest Management
Employees and contractors must avoid actions where personal or financial interests conflict with IRIS-Monde's duty to clients or the public.
All potential conflicts must be declared to a compliance officer immediately.
Decisions must be centred on client interests and professional.
Transparent Risk Awareness & Reporting
Employees must proactively identify, assess, and report potential risks — operational, reputational, financial, or ethical.
Risk management practices must align with relevant risk standards (ISO 31000’s framework)—and integrate risk considerations into every decision, process, and project.
Inspire and support employees report concerns, speak-up without fear of retaliation.
Integrity & Confidentiality
All client, employee, and business information must be safeguarded.
Only utilise data for legitimate business purposes in accordance with the Privacy Act and internal security policies.
Protect digital systems against mishandling, breach, or un-authorised access or usage.
Professional Conduct
Enable high professional standards in communication, appearance, and client engagement and maintenance.
Facilitate Service Delivery, and advice competently, in line with recognised industry standards.
Support inclusion, diversity, and respect through collaboration in all work activities and environments.
Breaches & Disciplinary Action
Any breach of this Code or related policies will result in disciplinary action, including termination or legal proceedings.
All breaches will be investigated fairly, with respect to due process and confidentiality.
Review & Continuous Improvement
This Code will be reviewed annually to ensure ongoing alignment with relevant requirements and emerging best practices.
Feedback from employees, clients, and regulators will inform all future updates.

Scope

Aligned with ISO 31000 – Risk Management and National Principles. This Code defines the values and behavioural standards that guide all activities at IRIS-Monde / Advisory Services. It applies to every employee, consultant, director, and partner — ensuring the organisation upholds the highest levels of integrity, transparency, and ethical governance across all jurisdictions.

Client Relations & Fairness
Uphold national fairness principles — ensuring all client interactions are just, transparent, and outcome-oriented.
Protect customer confidentiality and privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and other relevant laws.
Provide advice and services that reflect the client's best interests, based on independent, evidence-based assessment.
Deal with all complaints with empathy, fairness, and a commitment to resolution.
Conflicts of Interest
Detect, disclose, and manage any real or perceived conflicts of interest objectively.
Deter personal gain, relationships, or external pressures; these are not allowed and cannot compromise professional judgment.
Enable decisions that always will reflect on client’s best interests and stakeholders.
Governance & Accountability
Ensure all corporate actions align with the principles of good governance, risk transparency, and stakeholder accountability.
Directors, partners and managers must set a strong ethical example, reinforcing a culture of trust and integrity.
Support regulatory compliance across all markets — ASIC, AFCA, and TEQSA — where applicable.
Confidentiality & Data Ethics
All information obtained in the course of work is treated as confidential and proprietary.
Information is only shared when authorised, fair, and for legitimate business purposes.
Standards that reflect international best practices must uphold recognised cybersecurity and data protection and improvement.
Social & Environmental Responsibility
Support sustainability, diversity, and inclusion in all business conduct.
Facilitate ethical investment, social enterprise governance, and responsible practices.
Enable respect and foster collaboration without cultural or language barriers.
Reporting & Whistleblowing
Encourage employees to report unethical or unlawful behaviour without fear of retaliation.
Facilitate confidential and accessible channels for reporting concerns.
All investigations must be handled impartially, promptly, and with due process.
Implementation & Review
All employees must sign an acknowledgment of this Code and commit to upholding its principles.
The Code is reviewed annually to ensure alignment with evolving standards and regulatory requirements.
Any breaches will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination or regulatory reporting.
